Admissions
Your guideline for admission to the online MPA – Nonprofit Leadership and Management program
You must meet the following requirements for admission into the MPA – Nonprofit Leadership and Management online program.
Admission Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3.0 GPA
- No GMAT/GRE
- A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (4-point scale)
- Satisfactory performance on the statement of purpose essay portion of the application
International Transcript Evaluation:
TAMIU does their own foreign credential evaluations. Graduate School does not require third party evaluations nor are obligated to accept the results, or GPA calculations, if an evaluation is submitted. If an applicant submits an official evaluation, the evaluation does not replace official transcripts or certificates of graduation.

Courses
Preview your online MPA – Nonprofit Leadership and Management program courses
Curriculum for the MPA – Nonprofit Leadership and Management online program is comprised of 10 core courses (30 credit hours), 3 electives (9 hours), and either a project (3 hours) or an internship (3 hours) as a culminating course. Students must pass a comprehensive program exam after the completion of all core courses and are allowed two testing attempts. This exam is offered in the Fall II and Spring II terms. Two exam preparation meetings will be scheduled to clarify the exam process and expectations.
Students will complete 10 core courses. You must complete either a project PADM 5395 (3 hours) or an internship PADM 5396 (3 hours).
