Jyotsna Mukherji is professor of marketing. Working as an academic is her second career, having come to academia after over a decade of working in the corporate sector in India. Dr. Mukherji has been teaching in the A.R. Sanchez nce 1998. Dr. Mukherji is an active researcher, and her areas of specialization include the behavior of the Hispanic consumer and the role of acculturation in modifying School of Business si consumer responses. Her other areas of interest is understanding sustainable consumption choices and the role of socialization agents like family and social media. In both her teaching and research she is conscious that the stakeholders of a business need to be expanded to include consumers, society and the environment. Her attempt is that examining marketing strategies and their impact on all stakeholders makes for a sustainable and smart strategy.
