Healthcare Professional Courses FAQs:
There are no admission requirements.
Once your credit card payment is processed, you have immediate access to the course.
No RN license is required to apply for the business courses. To complete the full requirements for SANE certification, an RN license is required. There are no prerequisites for the courses.
Students should expect to spend 30-35 hours on each course. Students will have 45 days (six weeks) to complete a course.
Students taking the CA-SANE course will have 90 days (three months) to complete the course.
There are a series of short quiz assessments throughout the courses.
No, but learners will have the ability to send a support email for technical questions.
Access to the course content ends once the learner has completed the course.
No. All materials are included within the course. Students may have the option to purchase additional materials.
The courses are not eligible for financial aid.
You may request a refund within five business days of purchase if you have not viewed more than 10% of the course.
You will receive a digital certificate based on completion of the course (viewing all pages) and passing all assessments at 80%.
Only the Adult/Adolescent Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (CA-SANE) Didactic Course for the State of Texas is part of certification requirements.
The CA-SANE course is a required part of completed Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) certification, consisting of three parts. In addition to the didactic course, students must also complete clinical requirements and courtroom observation. The student must be an RN with a current and unencumbered nursing license in Texas or a compact state, with at least two years of active practice as an RN within the last five years. All SANE requirements must be completed within two years from application.
